Robert Dale "Bob" Zeltman

Robert Dale “Bob” Zeltman, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024 following a brief illness.

Born on August 24, 1930 in Strasburg, he was a son of the late Otto and Florence Keith Zeltman. He graduated from Strasburg High School and went on to serve in the Marines during the Korean War. He married his wife Sally and celebrated 61 happy years together before she passed away on November 12, 2016.

He will be greatly missed by his children, Jon (Sandy) Zeltman, Jean (David) Gunter, Mark (Marcia) Zeltman, and Mary (Banjo) Laus; his grandchildren, Matt, Sarah and Jacob Zeltman, Christina Gunter McDonald, Jonathan Gunter, Josh, Brittany and Zach Zeltman, Alison and Adam Laus; and his great-grandchildren, Piper, Nelly, Maverick, Winston, Pierce, Gabriel, Phoebe, Gideon, Alex and Adriana.

In addition to his wife and parents, Bob was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg. Interment of his ashes will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. The family plans to have a private celebration of life services at a later date.
