Roberta A. "Bobbi" Furbee

Roberta A. “Bobbi” Furbee, 81, of New Philadelphia passed away at the Community Hospice Truman House following a sudden illness.

Born on June 26, 1941, in Canton, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Sylvia (Petrisor) Pucci. She attended Timken High School and Hiram College. Bobbi worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for adolescents and retired from Edwin Shaw Hospital.

Bobbi was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she enjoyed attending. She was a friend of Doctor Bob and Bill W. for 43 years. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. She loved the ocean, watching the pelicans, garage saies, crocheting and watching Cleveland Indians games with her husband. She cherished times with her friends and especially loved spending time with her 5 great-grandchildren.

On June 13, 1982, she married the love of her life, Ralph Furbee. In addition to Ralph, she leaves behind her children; Bill (Amy) Treciak of Columbus, and Terri (Gary) Mayle of New Philadelphia; two step-children, Frank (Charlotte) Furbee, and Melissa Thomas both of Sebring, Ohio; her sisters, Loretta Gang of North Canton and Dawn Pucci of Canton; her grandchildren, Nina (Joe) Lawless of Dover, Gary Mayle of New Philadelphia, Jerod (Meredith) Lane of Laveen Arizona , Brittany (Kit) Creager of Deland, Florida, Ashley (Danny) Spiker of New Philadelphia, Sylvia Treciak of Dover, and Spencer Treciak of Dover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother; Eddie Pucci; sister, Theresa Pucci, and her brother-in-law, Dave Gang.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory of Dover. A memorial Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 10:30 am with Father Jeff Coning officiating.
