Roberta Ann Ickes

Roberta Ann Ickes, 68, of New Philadelphia passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 29, 2018 in her home.

Born in York, Maine on October 4, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Mark Foss and Ella (Hardison) Seamans. She graduated from Bangor High School with the class of 1968.

Roberta worked in the craft department and as a greeter at Walmart for over 19 years. She enjoyed crafting and volunteered for the Salvation Army.

She will be sadly missed by her four children; Andrea (Damian) Clem of Mesa, Arizona, Denise (Corey) Mallory of Queen Creek, Arizona, Robert (Sheila) Ickes of St. Mary’s, West Virginia, Melissa Ickes and her companion, Trevor Meek of Dover; five grandchildren, Devon (Indira) Rectanus of Mexico, Hallie Miller of New Philadelphia, Tyler Meek of Dover, Kendra Whitaker and Shannon Ramsey both of St. Mary’s, West Virginia; along with five great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 4pm-6pm. A celebration of Roberta’s life will take place at 6:00pm on Friday with Pastor David Wing officiating.
