Roberta L. Blackson

Roberta L. Blackson, 76, of Mineral City died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the Mercy Medical Center at Canton.

Born August 18, 1939 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Virgil and Esther Holcomb Kieffer. Roberta was also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Robert N. Blackson, on October 28, 2005 and a brother, Dick Kieffer.

She was a member of Somerdale Maranatha Church and the Eastern Star. Roberta was a wonderful homemaker who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Roberta will be sadly missed by her children, Connie Hinerman of Dover, Nelson, Robert and Forrest Blackson all of Mineral City; brothers, Willard Kieffer of Mineral City and Ralph (Viola) Kieffer of Sherrodsville; grandchildren, Freddie, Katie, Robert, Diane, Adam and Darnelle; three great grandchildren, Michael, Liam and Pressleigh.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 5 at 1:30 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Dick Harvey officiating. Interment will be at the New Cumberland Cemetery. Friends can call at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8 pm.
