Robin M. Tice, 53, of Uhrichsville, and a former resident of Dover, died
unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, in her home.
Born, Mar. 13, 1954, in Shanesville, she was a daughter of Robert T.
Dillon of Strasburg, and the late Bonnie R. Davis Dillon. Robin graduated
from New Philadelphia High School in 1972, and was a homemaker. She had
also been employed by Buehler?s Mill Restaurant in Dover, the former Anna
House Restaurant in Strasburg, and Alsco in Sugarcreek. Robin was a
loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother. Some of her pastimes
included bingo at Jaycee Villa in Uhrichsville, playing cards and reading.
In addition to her father, survivors include two sons, Michael A. (Rachel)
Tice of Dover, and Aaron (Jennifer) Tice of New Philadelphia; a grandson,
Ryan Tice of Sandusky; a sister, Wanda Denzer of Louisville; three
brothers, Bill (Susan) Dillon of Terre Haute, IN, Edsel (Diana) Dillon of
Doylestown and Don Dillon of Florida; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her mother, Robin was preceded in death by her husband of
twenty-five years, Carl J. Tice, in 2001.
Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory
in Dover on Friday, Jan. 4, 5-8 p.m. A funeral service for Robin will be
held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home. Burial will be
