Rolan D. Feller

Rolan D. Feller, 93, of Zoarville died Sunday, August 11, 2002 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.

He retired as the owner and operator of Rolan D. Feller Trucking Co. with over 40 years of service. He was also a farmer.

Born November 9, 1908 in Canton he was a son of the late Godfrey C. and Anna Burrier Feller.

He was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church in Zoarville, Fairfield Twp. Trustee for 29 years, Tuscarawas Valley Ruritan Club, Farm Bureau, Fairfield Grange and Senior Citizens. He served on the Board of Mental Health, Area Agency on Aging and the Fairfield Twp. School Board.

Rolan was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hiltbrand Feller, who died on June 30, 1997.

He is survived by two sons: Dean (Janet) Feller of Dover
Earl (Cindy) Feller of Dover

Two daughters: Virginia (Kenneth) Dorsey of Cuyahoga Falls
Ellen (Glenn) Waggy of Seville

Brother: Fred Feller of Canton

Sister: Donna Anthony of Youngstown

18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren

He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Grace Schaar and Evelyn Dentler

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Steve Daniels officiating. Interment will be at Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
