Ronald E. Fisher

Ronald E. Fisher, 89, of Dover died Monday, July 23, 2001 at Hennis Care Centre.

He was a Sales Manager for Stackhouse Oldsmobile and Weaver Motor Co. for many years.

Born September 13, 1911 in New Philadelphia he was a son of the late Ellsworth and Jeanette Baker Fisher.

He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church at Dover and was an Army Veteran of WW II, having served in the European Theatre with the 505th MP Battalion. He was a life member of Dover American Legion, Dover Elks and Tuscora Rifle Club.

Ronald is survived by his wife Ruby Dugger Fisher with whom he would have celebrated 62 years of marriage on November 22, 2001.

He is also survived by a daughter: Sandy and Mark Wertman of Dover

Brother: Eugene and Hazel Fisher of Dover

Sister: Fern and Charles Raff of Sanford, North Carolina

3 nieces and 4 nephews

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2001 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor George Reichman officiating. Interment will be at Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
