Ronald L. Limbacher, 74, of Dover passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 in the Mercy Medical Center at Canton.
Born March 3, 1948 in Dover, he was a son of the late John and Ann Welling Limbacher. Ron was also preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Jo Limbacher; brother and sister in law, John (Fran) Limbacher; brothers in law, Mel Miller, Bill McConnell and John Gasche.
Ron was the owner and operator of Limby’s Tavern in Dover for the past 46 years. He was a member of the FOPA, the Dover Elks Club and belonged to several different bowling and golf leagues throughout the years. In addition to golfing and bowling, Ron enjoyed fixing up, and showing, his 1951 Chevy.
A wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather, Ron will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years, Marge Gasche Limbacher, whom he married on November 9, 1968; son, Ronald (Jaime) Limbacher II of Carrollton; brother, Don (Betty) Limbacher of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Kayla Anderson, Mason Limbacher, Maximus Limbacher; great grandchildren, Riley and Sophia Anderson; sisters in law, Janice Miller of Sugarcreek, Carol McConnell of Millersburg; brother in law, Glenn (Pam) Gasche of Middleburg Heights; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be greeting friends on Thursday, April 21st in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Private family service will be held, with interment at the Dover Burial Park.
