Ronald W. Crouse

Ronald W. Crouse, 83, of Strasburg passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 in the Mercy Medical Center at Canton.

Born February 22, 1938 in Dennison, Ohio he was a son of the late Norman and Sarah Caldwell Crouse. Ron was also preceded in death by his son, Ricky Crouse; great grandson, Roman; three sisters; one brother; and his former wife, Beverly Crouse.

Ron proudly served his country with the United States Navy from 1955 until 1957. Following his discharge, he drove truck for Reese Trucking for over 25 years and finally retired in 2000 from the Teamsters Local #92 Canton. He was a member of the Dover Moose, AMVETS, and VFW. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and playing a round of golf with his friends.

Ron is survived by his children; Melody (Tim) Blakely of Strasburg, Sheri (Janet) Crouse of Maine, Lisa (Robert) Polen of Strasburg, Randy (Beth) Crouse of Strasburg; grandchildren, Nathan (Jen) Crouse, Ashley (Joe) Failla, Adrianne Dague, Andrew Polen, Shawn Crouse, Mikaylee Crouse; great grandchildren, Aubrey and London Failla, Ashlynn Crouse, Austin Stevenson and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg. Private family graveside services will be held in the Grandview Union Cemetery, Strasburg.
