Rosalyn (Rose) Hall

Rosalyn J. (Rose) Maurer Hall, 88, of Dover died Sunday, July 22, 2018 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover following a brief illness.

She was formerly bookkeeper for the M.H. Martin Company in Massillon for 14 years.

Born June 30, 1930 in Massillon, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Grace (Daniels) Maurer. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Maurer.

Rose was a devoted Christian and a longtime member of the Community Baptist Church in Dover where she played both the organ and piano for 24 years. She was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School in Massillon and attended the Canton Actual Business College. She will be remembered as a great mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Ron (Kelly) Hall and grandchildren, Alyssa and Carson of Midland, North Carolina; a niece, Sharon (Ken) VanSickle of Texas and her special friends, Joanne and Bill Craigo who she considered part of her family.

Rose will be remembered during church services on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018 beginning at 10:30am in the Community Baptist Church at Dover followed by a celebration of her life that will be officiated by Pastor Andy McClung.
