Rose H. Gray, 89, of Bedford and formerly a Dover resident, died Saturday, June 28, 2003, in her daughter�(TM)s home.
Rose had been employed by the former West Front Grill and Dover Molded Plastics Company, both of Dover. She had also worked as a clerk for the former LaFountaine�(TM)s variety store in downtown New Philadelphia.
Born Feb. 22, 1914, at Dayton, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Yuhasz.
Rose was an avid reader who also enjoyed listening to music and watching movies. She took great pride in her flowers and loved spending time in her gardens over the years.
On Aug. 1, 1936, Rose married Joseph D. Gray in Wellsburg, W.Va. She celebrated 65 years of marriage with him before his passing on March 3, 2002.
Surviving family members include four children, Judy (Lyle) Baker of Sidney, Terry A. Gray of Macedonia, Linda Gray and companion Roger Jurcago of Bedford and Tina (Sam) Reber of Dover; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A public graveside service will be held Thursday, July 3, at 2:30 p.m. in the Dover Burial Park with Lyle E. Baker officiating. There are no calling hours.
The family will receive friends immediately after services in a reception at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center.
