Roy J. Potts Sr.

Roy J. Potts, Sr., 75, of Midvale and formerly of Dover died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022 in his home following a brief illness.

Born March 8, 1947 in Strasburg, Ohio, he was the son of the late Jake Earlene and Esther (Tice) Potts.

Roy was a truck driver for many years and previously worked for A.J. Weigand Inc.

Roy proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the D.A.V.

He will be sadly missed by his family including his wife, Lois (Tylke) Potts. They were married on July 21, 1989; two sons, Roy (Malinda) Potts Jr. and Jake Aaron Potts both of Midvale.

He was preceded in death by three daughters, Lisa Marie Potts, Wendy Sue Potts and Sara Conway.
