Ruby Elizabeth Reynolds

Ruby Elizabeth Reynolds, 71, of New Philadelphia, died Thursday, September 20, 2007, in Schoenbrunn Healthcare from complications of Alzheimer�(TM)s Disease.

Born, August 8, 1936, in Wood County, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Sylvia Griffith Pierce. Ruby graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1955, and, on February 16, 1956, married Henderson Reynolds. The couple set up housekeeping in Tuscarawas County, where Henderson was employed. Ruby worked in several small manufacturing firms, but foremost she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, in New Philadelphia, and the Red Hat Society at Schoenbrunn Healthcare. Ruby enjoyed sewing and looking after her dogs.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah (companion, Rick Sinden) Reynolds and Mary (husband, Rex) Evans, both of New Philadelphia; a son, William (wife, Amy) Reynolds of Brewster; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Wanda Reynolds of Sherrodsville, and Judy Tryrillo of Colorado; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henderson, on May 11, 1974, and by two sisters and a brother.

A funeral service will be held Monday, September 24, at 1:30 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, 246 E.
