Ruby G. Feutz

Ruby G. Feutz, 88, of Baertown Rd. N.W., Dover, passed away peacefully Saturday, February, 24, 2001 at Hennis Care Centre where she had been a resident since 2000.

Born September 27, 1912 she was the daughter of the late Nancy Jane Shonk & Harry Madison Burris.

Ruby was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church at New Philadelphia. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and baking, and worked at various homes doing house cleaning and later worked at the Belmont Stamping & Enameling Company until she married.

On December 22, 1945 Ruby joined her hands and heart with Dean Feutz of Rt. 2 Dover. They shared nearly 50 years together until he passed away on January 4, 1995.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Leroy & Madison, two sisters Mary Jane Burris Smitley and Virginia Burris both of New Philadelphia, niece, Nancy Smitley Travis and nephew Bill Smitley.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 28, at 2:00pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Rev. Steven Court officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover on Tuesday from 6-8pm.
