Ruby Lavon Holden

Ruby ''Lavon'' Holden, 76, of Strasburg died Tuesday, April 10, 2001 in Union Hospital.

Born December 30, 1924 at Freeport, IL, she was daughter of Francis E. & Ethel L. Kohl Bryant.

Lavon was a member of the Dover Bible Church and was an avid Bunco player.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward R. Holden, who died October 29, 1973.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lavon was preceded in death by longtime companion Thomas E. Robinson, who died May 1, 1987.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, at 11:00am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Pastor Ed Scaglione officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends may call in the funeral home on Friday form 2-4 & 6-8pm.
