Russell P. Fuellner, 52, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, died Monday, January 2, 2012 at Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio.
A son of Paul F. and Elizabeth A. Reinhardt Fuellner, he was born July 11, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York.
Mr. Fuellner was a 1977 graduate of Indiana High School and also graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He was employed as a sales representative by the Evans Group. Russ loved spending time with his whole family; he especially enjoyed being the bartender at the annual Fuellner family and friends party at Rick and Kim's. Russ was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was an avid sportsman, enjoying guns and shooting.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Fuellner, of Shelocta; his wife, Margaret Ann Dobson Fuellner, of New Philadelphia, Ohio; two sons: Paul C. and Andrew R. Fuellner, both of New Philadelphia, Ohio; four siblings: David T. Fuellner and wife Griselle, of Palm Coast, Florida; Matthew D. Fuellner and wife Julianna, of Strausstown; Frederick "Ricky" E. Fuellner and wife Kimberly, of Shelocta; Katherine "Katie" D. Garland and husband Kenneth, of Indiana; close cousin, Bobby Schmidt, of Long Island, New York; good friend, Jack Reese, of Harrisburg; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Russ will also be missed by his dogs, Magnum and Cookie.
Friends are invited for an evening of fellowship in honor of Russell on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center from 5-8 pm.
