Ruth A. Hunt

Ruth A. Hunt, 88, of Dover died Friday, March 11, 2016 in the Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia.

Born January 6, 1928 in Dover she was a daughter of the late John and Edith Search Hunt.

Ruth retired in 1991 from Union Hospital as an RN after 21 years of service. She had also served as a Missionary Nurse in Niger, West Africa for over 17 years. She was an active member of Dover Bible Church, Missionary Society and Mailbox Club Missionaries. Ruth also taught children's Sunday school and adult Bible classes.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 15 at 11:00 am in the Dover Bible Church with Dr. James P. Lusher officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover on Monday from 5-7 pm.
