Ruth A. Mcafee

Ruth A. McAfee, 58, of Dennison passed away on October 13, 2012 at University Hospital in Columbus following a sudden illness.

Born in Dennison, on September 12, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Florence Moore McAfee. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Ralph McAfee.

Ruth graduated from Scio High School in 1972. She worked at Arrowstrip Inc. in Martins Ferry for over 25 years. She enjoyed crafts, shopping, and traveling. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her granddaughter, Brylee.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter; Beth (Bryan) Amistadi of Dover; her companion, Chuck Moorehead of Scio; two sisters, Vicki McAfee of Claremont, NC, and Mildred Kathy McAfee of Cadiz; along with several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Ruth's life will take place at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jewett, Ohio. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 5-8 pm.
