Ruth A. Schram

Ruth A. Schram, 87, of Strasburg died Christmas Day 2009 following a long illness.

Born on April 24, 1922 in West Jefferson, Ohio she was a daughter of the late James A. and Trella Wardell Weber. Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband, George A Schram who died on February 21, 1989; brother, Keene Weber and sisters, Pearl Weber Rentsch and Frances Weber.

Ruth was a 1940 graduate of Strasburg High School, a member of the First Lutheran Church in Strasburg, and was retired from the Timken Co. in Canton.

A wonderful mother and grandmother, Ruth will be sadly missed by her son, Timothy (wife, Pamela) Schram of Strasburg and her beloved granddaughter, Haley Jo Schram. Ruth also leaves behind her best friend since childhood, Melba Froman Allison.

Cremation will be handled through the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Strasburg. A celebration of Ruth's life will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 11:00 am in the First Lutheran Church at Strasburg with Pastor Steve Woyen officiating. Interment of the ashes will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg.
