Ruth “Bea” Eberly Baker, 96, died at Union Hospital on February 14, 2003. Ruth was born in Mineral City on February 24, 1906, and was a daughter of the late Alfred and Emma Stahlecker Eberly. She resided in Zoar and Zoarville before moving to Dover twelve years ago.
She was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church in Zoarville, WELCA women�(TM)s group and a former Sunday School Teacher.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Baker who died on June 15, 1976.
She is survived by a daughter: Audrey R. Baker of Dover
Sister: Alberta Gessler of Spanish Ft., Alabama
Sister-in-law: Jean Baker of Bolivar
Many nieces and nephews
She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Jeff, Herbert and Clarence Eberly
Two sisters: Martha Lundenberger and Gladys Rieker
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2003 at 3:00 pm in the Ft. Laurens Cemetery at Bolivar with Pastor Marvin Ritterling officiating. There are no calling hours.
