Ruth E. Locker

Ruth E. Locker, 94, of Dover died at her home on Monday, April 9, 2018.

Born on August 27, 1923 in Somerdale she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Blanche Rippel Ellis. Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband, Clem Locker on January 23, 2009; son, Mark Locker and an infant brother, Frederick Ellis.

Ruth was mainly a homemaker, but she had also worked at Shenango in Dover for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dover and was a volunteer at Union Hospital for 25 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and crocheting.

Ruth is survived by her son, Gary Locker of Dover.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. Private family graveside services will be held at the Dover Burial Park. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of Ruth may do so by visiting the online obituaries link on the funeral homes website.
