Ruth I. Denham

Mrs. Ruth I. Denham, 83 of Dover, died Saturday, April 8, 2000 in Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

She was a retired minister, and had served as Pastor at the Church of God in Dundee for 28 years. A new church edifice was built during her pastorate.

Born September 19, 1916 at Dundee, she was daughter of the late Jesse & Celia Fair Knipe.

Ruth was preceded in death by husbands Paul E. Frey, who died in 1961, and Boyd K. Denham who passed away in 1983.

3 step-children Louise Hoskins of Tampa FL, Lana Beasley of North Laurence, Ohio & Ann Tucker of Hamilton, Ohio
Son-in-law Don Winkler of Dover
Sister Dorothy Flynn of Dover
Grandchildren Duane, Steve & Doyle Winkler, Gina & Lisa Frey
10 step-grandchildren
5 great grandchildren

In addition to her parents and husbands, Ruth was preceded in death by a daughter, June Winkler, and step-daughter Sharon Bess.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 1:00pm in the Church of God at Dundee with Rev. Ellis Martin and Rev. Rick Noel officiating. Interment will be in the Dundee Cemetery. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
