Ruth M. Ward

Ruth M. Ward, 93, of New Philadelphia passed away at her daughter's home on Thursday, May 5, 2016.

Born February 16, 1923 in Flushing Township, Belmont County, Ohio she was a daughter of the late John and Orpha Keplinger Tucker. Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband, Ervine Ward in 1986; daughter, Fran Vaughn and brother, Kenneth Tucker.

Ruth was a homemaker and had also worked at Dover Buehlers as a cashier, having retired after 13 years of service.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Ricklic of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Kevin McNichols, Alisa (Jeff) Owens, Lori Patton, Kara (Darian) Robinson, Tracy Burkey; 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Ritter of Dover and special cousin, Florence Keplinger of Dover.
