Ryker Gunner Anslow, 16, of Uhrichsville, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.
Born in Dover on March 24, 2004, he was the son of Doug and Christy (Guy) Anslow of Uhrichsville. He was a sophomore at Indian Valley High School.
Ryker loved spending time outdoors; fishing, hunting, riding his bike, playing basketball, and camping with his family. He was very artistic and enjoyed drawing, playing his guitar, and writing songs. He also liked playing video games with his buddy, Gradyn Rook.
In addition to his parents, he also leaves behind his sister; Nicole Anslow of Uhrichsville; his paternal grandmother, Patricia Anslow of New Philadelphia; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Guy of Dover; his aunts and uncles, Denny (Pam) Anslow of Delroy, Becky (John) Fitzgerald of Dover, Charles (Angela) Guy of Georgia, and Debra Anderson of Dayton; along with his cousins, Cayleb, Chase, Cayden, Chloee, Lydia, Logan, Donald, and Valerie.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; William “Bill” Anslow; maternal grandfather, Charles Guy; his uncle, Joey Anslow; and twin cousins, Billie and Jozee Anslow.
Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Monday, October 12, 2020, from 4-6 pm. A private service will take place. To sign an online guestbook for Ryker, visit the obituary link on the funeral home’s website.
