Samantha L. White

Samantha L. White, 15, of Strasburg passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at Union Hospital.

Born September 26, 1986 in Dover she was a daughter of Jerry and Vivian “Sue” Snyder White Sr. of Strasburg

She was a student at Strasburg High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society, sang in the high school choir and played volleyball. She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, line dancing with the Kickin Kountry Line Dancing Club in Bolivar and walking in the woods with her father and brother while they were hunting.

Samantha is also survived by her twin brother: Jerry O. White II of the home.

Sister: Sonja (Lynn) Tanner of Chloe, West Virginia

Niece and nephew: Ashley and Tyler Tanner of Chloe, West Virginia

Grandfather: Hubert C. White

Step Grandmother: Charlotte White both of Orma, West Virginia

Many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by her brother: Troy L. Harper

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 22, 2002 at 11:00 am in the First Lutheran Church at Strasburg with Pastor Fred Grosse officiating. Interment will be at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
