Samuel F. 'Peeps' Miceli, 82, of 333 W. 5th St., Dover, Ohio died Tuesday, September 7, 1999 at Aultman Hospital following an extended illness.
He was a retired broker and truck driver for Miceli Trucking Company leased with Deioma Trucking at East Sparta where he worked for over 25 years.
Born October 24, 1916 in Dover, he was the son of the late Frank and Grace Tornabene Miceli.
Sam was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover and the Knights of Columbus at Dover. He was valedictorian of the St. Joseph High School Class of 1935. He enjoyed gardening and wine making and was an avid Sports booster of the Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School.
Sam is survived by his wife Agnes Krayzel Miceli with whom he would have celebrated 58 years of marriage September 27.

A sister in law Yole Miceli of Weirton, W. Va.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Paul Miceli, two brothers, and two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, Sept. 10, 1999 at 1:30 PM in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover Thursday after 2, with the family present from 6-9 PM. Rosary Services will be Thursday at 8:30 PM.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church or St. Joseph School.
