Sandra K. Balder

Sandra K. Balder, 74, of New Philadelphia died Sunday, November 18, 2018 in the Schoenbrunn Health Care Center.

Born August 18, 1944 in Dennison she was a daughter of the late Harrold and Helen Armstrong Fouts. Sandy was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Balder on April 25, 2017, and eight brothers and sisters.

She had worked at the YMCA as head of the babysitting department, and at Your Pizza Shop in New Philadelphia.

Sandy is survived by her children, Lori (Bryan) Walton of Tuscarawas, Kenneth (Kristina) Moreland of Florida; sister, Diane (Joe) Yoakam of Ragersville; three grandchildren, Shannon Shonk, Michael Moreland, Marissa Solomons; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who all felt her love and kindness over the years.

In keeping with Sandy’s wishes, cremation will take place with a celebration of her life to be held on Tuesday, December 4th at 7:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
