Santa Maribel Sica Ixcoy

Santa Maribel Sica Ixcoy, age 2, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, in Akron Children's Hospital. Little Santa had been ill for just about six months.
Born, Aug. 30, 2008, in Canton, she was the much-loved daughter Juan Sica and Maria Ixcoy de Sica of New Philadelphia.
In addition to her parents, Santa is survived by her twin sister, Isabelita Reyna Sica Ixcoy; a brother, Mario Ronaldo Sica Ixcoy; her maternal grandmother, Santa Teresa Ixcoy Baten of Guatemala; paternal grandfather, Jorge Sica, also of Guatemala; along with a host of other loving family and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m., in St. Joseph Church, Dover, with Fr. Matt Hoover officiating. Burial will be later in Guatemala. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 25, 6 �" 8 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory, Dover.
