Scott Eric "Scooter" Levengood

Scott E. "Scooter" Levengood, 46, of Westerville and formerly of Dover, passed away on August 10th, 2022 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus after a courageous battle with cancer.

Scott was born in Dover on September 24, 1975. He was the son of Mark and Patty (Adams) Levengood of Dover. Scott was a 1993 graduate of Dover High School. He had a long career in restaurant management.

He was an avid sports fan, especially Ohio State football and Cleveland sports. He also enjoyed live music and played the guitar.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Francis and Loretta Adams, his paternal grandparents Rev. Jack and Phyllis Levengood, and his dogs Courtney Brown and Beanie Wells;

In addition to his parents, Scott will be greatly missed by his wife, Charity (Smith) Levengood, whom he married on August 4th, 2012; his step-children Karley Ison and Gage Carter, originally of Chillicothe; his sister, Kristi Levengood of New Philadelphia; his mother-in-law, Jeanette Campbell of Chillicothe; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his beloved K-9 companion Charlie.

Because of his love of dogs, Scott suggested that in lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Pawsitive Energy, 15649 Myers Road, Marysville, OH 43040.

Friends are invited to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes & Crematory in Dover for Scott's celebration of life on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at 2 pm, with Pastor Lucas Merritt officiating.
