Sharon K. "Sherry" Rummes

Sharon K. “Sherry” Rummes, 68, of Dundee passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia following an extended illness.

Born on March 22, 1950 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Don and Edna (Haver) Yenni. In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Rummes.

She was a long-time member of the Church of God.

Sherry graduated from Dover High School with the class of 1968. She was married to David Rummes, whom she would have celebrated 47 years of marriage on July 18, 2018. She will also be missed by her son; Chris Rummes (fiance, Ashley Geltz); daughter, Heather (Brian) Gribble; grandchildren; Skyler, Alex, Dylan, Christopher; her brother, Bruce Yenni (fiance, Bobbie Jackson); along with many close friends and relatives.

Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 5-7 pm. A celebration of Sherry’s life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Erik Cremeans officiating.
