Shawn Paul Neff, 40, of Ava, Ohio died Monday, August 3, 2015 in his home.
Born Dec. 31, 1974 in Cambridge, Ohio, he was the son of Cheryl A. McElroy Neff of Ava and the late Larry N. Neff.
Shawn was a 1994 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. He attended the Anchor Church in Cambridge and loved sports, music, and spending time with his family.
He was a construction worker for PDC Construction Company in Plain City.
In addition to his father, Shawn was preceded in death by his sister, Kim Weber, a brother, Christopher Neff and his grandparents Roy and Pauline Neff and Paul McElroy.
In addition to his mother, Shawn is survived by his wife, Shawna G. (Warner) Neff with whom he was married Oct. 3, 2011; a son, Nautis K. R. Neff of New Philadelphia; his grandmother, Patsy Clewell McElroy; his stepfather, Charles Kerns; brothers and sisters, Larry Neff Jr., Greg Neff, and Cheryl Neff all of Cambridge, Mandy Neff of Ava and Patricia Neff of Lisbon along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Shawn's life will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 beginning at noon in the Stop Nine Church Activity Center in Byesville, Ohio.
