Shelvie Jean Davis

Shelvie Jean Davis, 68, of Piscataway, New Jersey and formerly of Dover and Zanesville, Ohio died Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Haven Hospice in Edison, N.J.

Shelvie was born in Zanesville.

She was a security employee for Revlon, Inc. and formerly worked at Mattel and Vernardo/Two Guys. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Piscataway.

She is survived by two children, Jeffrey (wife, Marie) Davis of Piscataway and Deidre (husband, Michael) Miller of Canton; grandchildren, Antwane, Maurice, and Brandon Miller, Jeffrey Jr., Jason, Ryan, and Brittany Davis; one great granddaughter, Leah Miller; her mother in law, Mattie L. Davis and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 2pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover with Pastor Robert Sherrell officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-2pm.
