Shirley Ann Vance, 82, of Dover died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in the Oak Pointe Nursing Center at Baltic.

Shirley lived all of her adult life in the home she and Paul built on Rt. 39 where she loved growing beautiful flowers, caring for her lawn, gardening, reading, puzzles, and taking care of her family and pets. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Dover and the Dover Gardening Club. In her younger years she worked as a telephone operator, but her favorite job was being a mom and grandma who was always there to support her family.
