Sophia T. Bluco

Sophia T. Bluco, 86, of Dover passed away peacefully on January 30, 2011 in the Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

Born June 20, 1924 in Wheeling, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late John and Sophia Hafera Rich. Sophia was also preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Bluco who died on May 13, 1997; brothers, Marty, Albert and Rudy Rich; sisters, Virginia Roberts and Elizabeth Cruciotti.

Sophia served her country with the Navy WAVES during WW II, and in her spare time she enjoyed gardening and being with her grandchildren.

A wonderful mother and grandmother Sophia will be missed by her daughters, Rebecca (Michael) Bennett of Tippecanoe and Diane Briggs of Cuyahoga Falls; sister, Helen Nipar of California; four grandchildren, David and Nicholas Bennett and Amy and Ali Briggs; great grandson, Noah Bennett.

We wish to thank Park Village, where she spent the last few years in their special care.
