Stella M. Smith

Stella M. Smith, 84, of Strasburg, died peacefully Saturday, December 31, 2005.

She was born February 6, 1921 in Dover Township, she was the daughter of the late Jacob & Helen Flaim Zeigler.

Stella had a unique collection of hundreds of salt & pepper shakers from around the world. She enjoyed gatherings and activities with the Eberhart Coal retirees.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Smith, who died March 4, 2003.

Survivors include: a loving brother, Bill (Wanda) Zeigler of Midvale; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Stella was preceded in death by: four brothers, Lester, Nelson, George, and Dale Zeigler; and three sisters, Gladys Harper, Alice Lindeman, and Mary Medley.

A funeral service that celebrates Stella�(TM)s life will be held Tuesday, January 3, at 1:00 p.m. in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Following the burial, a meal for family and friends will be held in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call in the funeral home on Monday, from 2-4 & 6-8pm.
