Steven Louis Bigler

Steven Louis “Biggs” Bigler, 66, of New Philadelphia passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Union Hospital Cleveland Clinic.

Born on May 4, 1956, in Dover, he was the son of the late Charles and Martha (Lanzer) Bigler. Steven graduated from Dover High School with the class of 1974. He worked with his father for many years as a painter.

Steven was an avid sports fan and enjoyed basketball, baseball, and football. He especially loved watching the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed golfing.

He leaves behind two sisters; Brenda Noe of Delaware, Ohio, and Sandra (Jim) Gibb of Dover; his nieces and nephews; Michelle (Rick) Coon of Dover, Diane (Chad) Loomis of Grove City, James Gibb of Dover, Darin (Karen) Gibb of Dover, Travis Summers of Marion, Ohio, Adam (Kaylie) Summers of Rutland, Vermont, and Erin Bigler of Austin, Texas; along with many great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his brother; Charles Jerry Bigler; sister, Barbara Summers; along with two brothers in-law, Tom Strank and Roger Noe.
