Suanne Gordon

Suanne Gordon, 69, of New Philadelphia passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, January 17, 2025.

She was born on April 29, 1955 in East Liverpool and was a daughter of Dorothy Van Dyke Kaufman of New Philadelphia and the late George Wilson.

Suanne retired from the Whirlpool Corporation in Marion, Ohio after many years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and crosstitch.

She is survived by her children, Denise (Tim) Carpenter of New Philadelphia and Misty (David) Blackford of Marion; sisters, Carol Grayson of Cleveland, Adrienne Lacheta of Dublin; 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In addition to her father, Suanne was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. “Don” Gordon on October 25, 2017; and two half children, Kimberly Davis and Donald Gordon Jr.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A service celebrating Suanne’s life will be held at a later date.
