Sue Ann Baker, age 75, of Melbourne, Florida, and formerly of Goshen and Dover, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in her home.
Born September 26, 1937, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Evan and Viola Irene Smith Stoneman. Sue Ann attended school in Dover and moved to Florida with her family in the late 1950's. She was administrative assistant to the building manager of The Miami Herald for twenty-six years.
Sue Ann was an active member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Hollywood, Florida. Additionally, she was a member of the Florida Philharmonic Chorus; she maintained a keen interest and supported the arts all of her life.
Survivors include her husband, Robert "Ken" Baker, whom she married on August 1, 1960 in Miami; her two daughters, Becky (husband, Joe) Borowiec of Cape Coral, Florida, and Bobbi (companion, Joe) Hardman of Fort Pierce, Florida; her son, Scott (wife, Candy) Tanner of Stevensville, Maryland; her four grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren; and her brother, Richard (wife, Carol) Stoneman of Chocorua, New Hampshire.
