Sue Ellen Sabino, 42, of Strasburg, died peacefully Monday, May 26, 2003 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was an employee of Union Hospital where she worked in sterile processing.
Born March 25, 1961 at Mineral City, she was the daughter of Ronald and Ellen King Jones of Winfield.
Sue Ellen was a 1979 graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School. She had varied interests that ranged from quilting and sharing her works with others, to tending to her flower and vegetable gardens of which she took great pride in. She shared a passion for riding Harley Davidson motorcycles with her husband of 23 years John J. Sabino, who survives. With him, she enjoyed doing various road runs for charities including the Teddy Bear Run which supports Akron Children�(TM)s Hospital.
In addition to her husband, Sue Ellen is survived by: two daughters; Kelli Sabino of Columbia and Stacy Sabino of the home, five brothers; David Jones of Mineral City, Tom (Lisa) Jones of Dellroy, Bill (Stephanie) Jones of Sherrodsville, Ronnie (Melanie) Jones of Zoar and Donnie (Tracy) Jones of Mineral City. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews with whom she shared a special bond and enjoyed spending time with.
A ceremony celebrating Sue Ellen�(TM)s life will be conducted Friday, May 30, at 2:00 p.m. in the Winfield United Methodist Church with Pastor LuAnn Youngman officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg.
Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
