T. Mae Ritenour, 75, of Dover, died Wednesday, November 7, 2001 in Aultman Hospital at Canton.
Born March 14, 1926 at Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania, she was daughter of Therma Campbell Pease of New Philadelphia and the late Arnold Pease.
She was a member of the Penobscott Homemakers club, Christian Women's Association, and a Tuesday night quilting club. She was a longtime volunteer with activities at Harbor House and was an avid follower of the Lauren Manufacturing softball team.
Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Max Ritenour, Sr., who died in 1986.
Survivors include:
5 children; Max & Kathy Ritenour of Dover, Mike & Alice Ritenour of Bolivar, Marcia Eichelberger of Stone Creek and her fiance Marty Sauser, Mark & Cheryl Ritenour of Atwood Glens, and Matt Ritenour of New Phila., 4 grandchildren; Rhonda Riffle of Phoenix, AZ, Chasity Sauser of Stone Creek, Josh Ritenour of Pittsburgh, PA and Elizabeth Ritenour of Atwood Glens, 5 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Wilbert Pease of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Bill Pease of New Philadelphia, and two sisters; Ruth Ritenour of New Phila., and Helen Lynn of Cranberry, PA.
In addition to her father and husband, Mae was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernie & Chuck.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10 at 11:00am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Jeff Mathews officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia. A reception will follow services in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call in the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8pm.
