Terry A. Paisley, age 83, a lifelong resident of Dover, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in the Inn at Northwood Village.
Born April 11, 1938, he was a son of the late John Sr. and Evelyn Mason Paisley. Terry graduated from Dover High School in 1956, and, a year later, on July 14, 1957, married the former Charlotte M. Renicker, who survives. The couple would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary this year. Terry was employed for 30 years by the I.F. Manufacturing Company in New Philadelphia, and later went to work for Wayne Dalton in Mount Hope, from which he retired. Some of Terry’s favorite pastimes were gardening and watching the birds and other wildlife around his home.
In addition to his wife, Charlotte, he is survived by his children, Paula (James) Ross of Dover, Diane Williams of Parkersburg, West Virginia, and Mark Paisley of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Austin and Nathan Ross, Tabitha (James) Eagle, James (Kim) and Joseph Nelson, Jennifer and Clark Paisley; his eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Sue (David) Uebel; and his nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, John Jr. “Jack” and June Paisley, and his sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Fred Memmelaar.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Saturday, January 15, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. A graveside service will follow in Dover Burial Park; Pastor David Wing will officiate.
