Terry W. Lambert Sr.

Terry W. Lambert Sr., 61, of Strasburg went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 10, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on June 19, 1957 in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was the son of the late Donna Jean Lambert. He was also preceded in death by his brother, LaRandall “Randy” Lambert and his sister, Mollie Bea Charles.

He attended Perry High with the class of 1976. Terry worked at Shanafelt Manufacturing in Canton as a drill press operator for 25 years. He loved spending his time outdoors working in his yard or hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved animals.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Penny (Dedmon), whom he married on July 21, 1975. He will also be sadly missed by his children; Terry (Shanell) Lambert Jr. of Magnolia, Sabrina (Chris) Bailey of North Canton, Toby (Felicia) Lambert of Paris, Ohio, Jason Nelson of Strasburg, Vincent Nelson of Strasburg; nine grandchildren, Justin Bailey, Shelby Lambert, Tristen (Kori) Lambert, Lynsey Lambert, Salina Soto, Hayley Lambert, Lacey Lambert, Toby Lambert II, and Tanner Lambert; one great-grandchild, Oakley Bailey (he was expecting another great-grandchild soon); his brothers and sisters, Angela Lambert, Sherry (Troy) Heath, Rocky Lambert, Tony (Anita) Lambert, Chris Lambert, Lionel (Gary) Lambert, Shannon (Becky) Lambert, Scott (Juanita) Lambert; his very special aunt, who was very dear to him, Lucy Mullins of Sydney, Ohio; along with many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 3-5pm. A funeral service will take place at 5:00 pm on Tuesday with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Following the service, a meal will be served in the Canton South Social Hall.
