Tessie H. Mccluney

Tessie H. McCluney, 85, of E. 4th St., Dover, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 14, 2011.

Tess retired in 1986 from U.S. Ceramic at East Sparta where she worked for 42 years.

Born September 5, 1925 in Columbia, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Esther (Books) Ridgway.

She was a member of the Dover Bible Church and was a devoted mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Tess was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. McCluney who died October 19, 1995; two brothers, William and Earl Ridgway and three sisters, Josephine Morgan, Elva Herron and Jane Keim.

Tess will be sadly missed by her son and daughter in law Tim and Denise McCluney of Westerville; two grandchildren, Marissa and Christopher McCluney both of Westerville; two brothers and a sister Tony (Jean) Ridgway and Alva "Duke" (Helen) Ridgway and Elizabeth Burtscher all of New Philadelphia along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 11am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover with Pastor Ed Scaglione officiating. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8pm.
