Theodore (Ted) E. Crites

Theodore (Ted) E. Crites, 60, of New Philadelphia, Ohio died Tuesday, February 12, 2002 in his home following a sudden illness.

He was a retired inspection employee at the Republic Steel Company in Canton where he worked for 36 years.

Born March 29, 1941 in New Philadelphia, he was the son of Jane Garner Crites Murray of Dover and the late Walter Crites.

Ted enjoyed fishing and was a US Army Veteran.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepfather Glen Murray.

Three sons Ted (Susan) Crites of Fresno, Ohio, Don (Lori) Crites and Jeff Crites both of Strasburg.

Six grandchildren Taylor, Mariah, Morgan, Teddy, Elizabeth, and Dakota Crites.

Two halfbrothers Mike Murray of Strasburg and Bill Murray of Houston, Texas.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 pm at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover with Rev. Michael Crank officiating. Cremation will follow services. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday (today) from 5-8 pm.
