Theresa ''Tess'' Offinger

Theresa J. ''Tess'' Offinger, 95, of the Country Club Retirement Center and formerly of Parma, died Tuesday, August 28, 2001, in the Center.

She retired as bookkeeper for the Cleveland Schools Board of Education.

Born March 5, 1906 at Justice, Ohio, she was daughter of the late Charles & Grace Kaylor Wilhelm.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph M. Offinger, who passed away June 27, 1988.

Surviving are: one niece, Marjorie Maurer of Fostoria, and two nephews, Merle Carr of Dayton, and Art & Fern Carr of Strasburg.

In addition to her parents and husband, Tess was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert Wilhelm & a sister, Ella Jane Carr.

A public graveside service will be held Thursday, August 30, at 1:00pm in the Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted with Rev. Steve Court officiating. There are no calling hours.
