Thomas M. Bearducci

Thomas M. Bearducci, 85, of Dover passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Born on September 1, 1938, in Dover, he was a son of the late Pasquale "Patsy" and Henrietta Reidy Bearducci.  Thomas was also preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Martha Cenci Bearducci on December 9, 2017; son, Patrick Bearducci; brother, Paul Bearducci; sisters, Patricia Bearducci and Mary Renicker.

Thomas was the owner and operator of Eureka Machine Shop in Sugarcreek for an impressive 26 years. Known for his commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional service, he established a strong reputation within the industry. Beyond his professional achievements, Thomas was also deeply connected to his community. He was a proud supporter of Tuscarawas Central Catholic athletics and served as the basketball scorekeeper for an incredible 40 years. It was evident that he had an innate passion for sports and could often be found cheering for his favorite teams or engaging in a friendly game of golf.  In addition to his involvement in athletics, Thomas was committed to serving others through various organizations. An active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, he also belonged to the Knights of Columbus and the New Philadelphia Elks, where he formed lifelong friendships.  He also served his country with the United States Army from 1961 to 1963.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Michele) Bearducci of Rocky River; sisters-in-law, Elsie Cenci of New Philadelphia, Pat Bearducci of Dover; and his beloved grandchildren, Alexander, Tory, and Ben. 

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 28th starting at 11:00 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Jimmy Hatfield officiating.   Those planning to attend are asked to go directly to the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.  

Instead of flowers, the family suggests that contributions in Thomas' memory be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church at 613 N. Tuscarawas Ave., Dover, Ohio 44622; or to Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School Athletic Department at 777 3rd St NE, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
