Thomas G. Lambros, 64, of Dover, died Wednesday, February 27, 2002, in Union Hospital.
He had been employed for 30 years by IF Manufacturing of New Philadelphia, where he worked until the plant shut down in 1987.
Born May 10, 1937 at Dover, he was son of the late Gust & Mary Aleferis Lambros.
Thomas was a member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Massillon. A member of the Dover American Legion, he was an Army veteran who served peacetime duty in Korea. He was also a movie buff who enjoyed watching old movies.
He is survived by: 3 sisters; Helen C. & Robert Harris of New Philadelphia, Sophia Elliott of Mineral City and Christine & Thomas Contini of Marysville, Ohio, 5 nephews; James & Robert Harris, Frederick Elliott, Thomas Contini & John ''Gus'' Lambros, 3 nieces; Donna Copeland, Connie Contini & Jackie Contini, 7 great neices & 1 great nephew.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by two brothers, John & Harry Lambros.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, at 2:30pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home with Fr. Constantine Shiepis. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6-9pm.
