Thomas G. Menefee

Thomas Gene Menefee, 58, of Sherrodsville, Ohio died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.

Tom was a security officer and also was previously an auto mechanic.

Born September 9, 1949 in Dover, he was the son of Ruth Menefee Cadle of Dover and the late Gail Menefee.

Tom was a 1967 graduate of Tusky Valley High School and was raised in the Dover Church of Christ. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed guns as a hobby.

In addition to his mother, Tom is survived by four children; Thomas Lee (Jennifer) Menefee of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Robert Joseph Menefee of Uhrichsville, Derek Chambers of Prairie DuChien, Wisconsin and Lisa France of Monroe, Wisconsin; four brothers, Gail Menefee Jr. of Ocala, Florida, Terry Menefee of Columbia, South Carolina, Brent Menefee of Madison, North Carolina, and Chris Menefee of Strasburg; a sister, Pamela Weltmer of New Philadelphia along with seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Tom�(TM)s life will be held Monday, November 26, 2007 at 10am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover with Randy Chapman officiating. Interment will be in German Cemetery. Tom�(TM)s family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-8pm.
