Thomas L. Baer

Thomas L. Baer, 53, of Strasburg, Ohio died Thursday, March 8, 2007 in the Country Club Center following a five month illness.

Tom was born October 29, 1953 in Dover, the son of Robert and Carol Emig Baer of Dover.

He was a truck driver for Red Malcuit Inc. for over twenty years and had previously worked for A.J. Weigand Inc.

Tom enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and working on motorcycles. He formerly enjoyed dirt bike racing at Broken Spokes and in recent years, enjoyed watching his son compete in races. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a graduate of Dover High School.

In addition to his parents, Tom is survived by his son, Jon R. Baer and his daughter, Hannah Baer of Dover; his loving former wife, Renee Baer of Dover and his sister and brother in law, Cindy and Dave Weber of Dover.

A service celebrating Tom�(TM)s life will be held Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 11am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover with Chaplain Rick Brinsley of Hospice of Tuscarawas County officiating. A reception will follow in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends will be received Saturday from 10-11am.
