Thomas R. Mayforth

Thomas R. Mayforth, 54, of Strasburg, died Thursday, August 3, 2000 in his home.

He had been employed with Canton Drop Forge for 36 years as a truck driver.

Born June 29, 1946 at Dover, he was son of the late Ivan and Isabell Limbacher Mayforth.

Thomas was a member of the First Moravian Church at Dover. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching his sons play sports, and especially enjoyed spending time with his two grandchildren. He was also a US Army veteran who served in Vietnam.

3 sisters Shirley & Paul Ruegsegger of Strasburg
Jane & Mickey Blumenauer of New Philadelphia

2 grandchildren Chantz & Celina Mayforth

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Dray, and a brother Dennis Mayforth.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 7, at 11:00am in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Allen Bergmann officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends may call in the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5pm.
